GONE! GONE! GONE! 3 HRs for Salim Monday, November 6th , 2045 Whatever Chris Salim ate for breakfast before his game against the Helena Brewers today, it gave him some impressive power. The Grand Junction left fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Suplizio Field. His home run barrage led the Rockies to take the 22-5 victory over the Brewers. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-6, scored 3 times, drove in 8 and put on a display that history will remember. Chris Salim hit a two-run home run off Tom Wendel in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Tim Phillips in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Sho Sekine in the 8th. Currently Salim is batting .409 with 68 home runs and 243 RBIs. |
