Rockies Advance to World Series Friday, November 17th , 2045 Chris Salim has led his Grand Junction Rockies to a Conference Series victory. Grand Junction's left fielder was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-1 and eliminating the Danville Braves. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the World Series with a 8-2 triumph at American Legion Field in the deciding game. Salim was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .350 average, as well as 5 home runs and 10 RBI. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Series finishes. |
