Bluefield Moves on to World Series Monday, November 20th , 2045 Devin Huber has led his Bluefield Blue Jays to a Conference Series victory. Bluefield's left fielder was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the Oakland (APP) Athletics. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the World Series with a 5-2 triumph at Juan Marichal Complex in the deciding game. Huber was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .429 average, as well as 2 home runs and 6 RBI. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Series finishes. |
