Yankees Deal Red Sox 7-5 Loss
The New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox, 7-5, in American League action at Fenway Park. Geni Prawiranega pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran was 3-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. New York reliever Isaias Chavez was the winner. His record is now 7-4. John Hotham took the loss. New York has now won 3 in a row.

New York used the timely hitting of C.J. Richerson to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Yankees on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Prawiranega. "Just do my job."
