Breceda Delivers Walk-Off Win for Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

Behind the hitting of Willie Koviak, the Boston Red Sox stopped the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-4. Koviak went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Red Sox. Boston reliever Guadalupe Vasguez picked up the win, upping his record to 5-6. Hoof Harted took the loss.

Cesar Breceda was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Sox third baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Breceda. "And not try to do too much."

The win puts Boston at 80-72 this season.
